The Rest In Pieces
The installation consists of 1000kg of porcelain, glass and metal from an old landfill in the Oslo Fjord.
The garbage from Oslos population was dumped between two Islands from 1904-1945, and resulted into one huge Island after the second world war. The City buried and sealed the garbage with soil and grass, and is now one of Oslos most popular places for recreation. The objects shows fragments of a former Oslo, all the pieces are a natural part of our history, as they have previously served as everyday items from a home, a hotel or a restaurant.

The Installation have been showed in Kunstmuseet Nord Trøndelag 2012, Kunstplass 5, 2013, Tegnerforbundet (Østlandsutstillingen) 2015, and in Kiel, 2016.

In 2023 all the pieces found will be used for a permanent installation at Langøyene, where it was all found. And will be a part of Oslo Kommunes Kunstsamling
